PRESIDENT

Lynne brings a ton of experience and a genuine passion for community connection and service. With qualifications like a Diploma of Governance, a Diploma of Community Services Management, and a Graduate Certificate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), Lynne is well-prepared to lead with strong governance and strategic oversight. Her education from the Oxford University Executive Leadership Program further boosts her ability to guide the organisation towards its mission of community support and development.

Lynne’s extensive background in executive leadership, project and change management, and governance in both the not-for-profit and corporate sectors highlights her dedication to fostering community well-being. She blends theoretical insights with practical, action-based coaching techniques, ensuring that Kingston Neighbourhood House not only meets its immediate goals but also builds a sustainable future. Lynne’s strategic thinking and execution skills, along with her knack for managing stakeholder relationships and organisational transitions, make her an invaluable asset to the community and the organisation she serves.

A local who grew up in Blackmans Bay, Lynne returned to the area a decade ago after many years interstate and in other regions of Tasmania.
