Kate Crawford

BOARD MEMBER

With over two decades of experience across community development, partnerships, and strategic leadership, Kate brings a vibrant mix of passion, creativity, and purpose to every role. Kate has been a driving force behind volunteer sector innovation and collaboration since 2017. From coordinating statewide initiatives to nurturing meaningful partnerships, Kate’s career has been a journey through Tasmania’s not-for-profit landscape — including roles with Volunteering Tasmania, Variety Tasmania, the MS Society, and the Tasmanian Farmers & Graziers Association. Whether managing events, shaping policy, or championing volunteerism, Kate thrives on connecting people and purpose.

Beyond the boardroom, Kate is known for their infectious enthusiasm, community spirit, and a knack for making things happen — often with a smile and a spreadsheet. A proud graduate of the Institute of Project Management and the Australian Institute of Company Directors, they’re as comfortable leading strategic planning sessions as they are rolling up their sleeves at a local fundraiser. With a career rooted in service and a heart for impact, Kate continues to champion causes that matter.

‘I believe that that doing good can be both powerful and fun.’
