Making a difference
with our community.

Who are we?

Since opening our doors in 1985, Kingston Neighbourhood House has lovingly welcomed tens of thousands of community members into a warm, inclusive space. Everything we do is shaped by the needs and voices of the people who walk through our doors. Through our programs, services and activities, we aim to support health, wellbeing, and a genuine sense of belonging for everyone in our community.

The House is held together by a kind and committed team of volunteers and staff, and guided by our Board, made up of people who live and work in our area. Together, we work to make Kingston Neighbourhood House a place where people feel safe, valued, and supported.

We welcome people from all walks of life – whether you're looking for a helping hand, a friendly face, some information, or just a warm place to connect. The House is here for conversation, laughter, shared meals, and simple moments of kindness that make a big difference.

At its heart, Kingston Neighbourhood House is about bringing people together. We believe that human connection is vital – that having someone to talk to, sit beside, or share a cuppa with can change a day, or even a life. We’re proud to be a place where community grows naturally – through smiles, shared stories, and the small but powerful connections that make us feel less alone.
